A New Zealand native, Ross Dominikovich was selected to head the Israeli Bobsled Federation coaching team. Recruited as an athlete for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics for team New Zealand, Mr. Dominikovich has been involved with bobsled since 1987. He competed for New Zealand in both the 2-man and 4-man bobsled from 1987 to 1995. He piloted team New Zealand from 1991to 1995 in competitions including the World Cups, Americas Cups and Europa Cups. Upon retiring from competition, Mr. Dominikovich began coaching both New Zealanders and Canadians. As head coach for New Zealand Bobsled, Mr. Dominikovich took the team to the 1998 Olympics in Nagano and the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City. Mr. Dominikovich has an unparalleled understanding of competitive bobsledding, evidenced by his invitation to coach Canadian Development and National team members and to coach the last five bobsled drivers' schools in Calgary, Alberta, and the 2002 driver’s school in Winterberg, Germany.
